Automatic Talkdown: Setup Guide

With Automatic Talkdown, you can now set a pre-recorded message to play automatically as soon as a person or vehicle is detected on site. Please note: Only compatible with SiteWatch Pro cameras. You need to be enrolled in Professional Security Monitoring for this feature to function.

1. Log into SiteCloud.
2. Navigate to the View Camera page for the specific camera you are working on.
3. Go into the settings (wrench and screwdriver icon) and select “Configure Motion Triggering”

       4. In the Deterrence settings area, complete the following:

• • Make sure “Play pre-recorded clip on TalkDown speaker when person or vehicle is detected” is checked.
  • Click the “Record” button to record an audio clip to be played (your web browser may ask you to give the site microphone permissions).

Note: This recording is separate from the message recorded for manual talkdown playback, allowing you to save one clip for manual playback and a separate one for automatic playback.

       5. Click Save.

       6. Configure other cameras using the same steps as above. 

Now, when a person or vehicle is detected while your system is armed, the Deterrent message will play automatically!
