TRITEC Builds Long Island’s Premier Mixed-Use Hub Utilizing Sensera Systems' Jobsite Intelligence Solution

TRITEC is leading the construction of Station Yards, a transformative mixed-use development at the Ronkonkoma Hub in Long Island, NY. Designed as a premier live-work-play district, the project includes 175 residential units, retail space, and amenities that include a pool and courtyard.

Positioned next to Suffolk County’s busiest LIRR station and near Long Island MacArthur Airport, Station Yards is a complex, high-profile build requiring a tight project schedule, strict safety regulations, and quality assurance. Continuous collaboration among the project team, design professionals, and the client is key to the project’s success.

Key components of the project construction include:

  • Site Development: Clearing, grading, utility installation, earthwork, and foundation preparation
  • Structural Construction: Building the framework with concrete, steel, masonry, and wood
  • Architectural Work: Installation of cladding, roofing, windows, doors, and interior finishes such as drywall, flooring, ceilings, and millwork
  • MEP Systems: Complete installation of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical systems, lighting, power distribution, and low-voltage components

To support this project, TRITEC selected Sensera Systems’ Jobsite Intelligence solution to provide jobsite security and progress monitoring. After struggling with a previous camera system that made retrieving footage difficult, TRITEC selected Sensera Systems for the product’s overall ease of use and ability to utilize a single solution for site security and project progress monitoring.

TRITEC also has a live dashboard from Sensera’s SiteCloud software in their headquarters lobby, showcasing real-time imagery and timelapse from Station Yards.
